I'm On Fire!

Picture
Wow - Linda at It All Started With Paint just awarded me the Blog on Fire Award.

First, I'd like to thank the academy - I mean Linda!  She's only been at this blogging thing a few months but she's been featured gazillions of times (I've even featured her foyer here)!

This award requires me to share five things about myself so here goes.

1) I've always secretly wished I could sing but I can't carry a tune (and my 8th grade nun made sure I knew it)!

2) I love Kathy Griffin.  She's rude, crude, loud and vulgar - what's not to like?!  (I also love her mom Maggie who enjoys a good box of wine).

3) If I could, I would travel constantly.

4) I hate cilantro - it tastes like soap!

5) I snack like a 5 year old.  I'm talking Swedish Fish, Gummy Bears, Sour Patch Kids, I don't discriminate ...

Enough about me - let's get on to the five people who I think are On Fire!

She's an artist, former elementary art teacher and lover of all things chippy, crusty, painted, vintage, shabby, farm, prairie and antique.  What's not to like at The Farmhouse Porch?

Christine at Stonehouse Living is turning her 1950's cape cod in the city into a fabulous home with a little hard work and elbow grease.
Picture
Caroline at Boho Farm & Home is a designer and horticulturist and has the most amazing garden.  She's got two kids, six chickens, one dog, and a cat and she has time to make her own jam!

Laura and Andrea are a mother daughter dynamos at Cottage and Broome.  They have a love of vintage, art and writing and it shows!

Mallori of Repurposed Vintage Finds brings new life neglected pieces. She owns a shop where she transforms furniture and spaces without breaking the bank.

Check out these gals for some inspiration and find out why they're on fire too!

  • Reveal the 5 blogs I have chosen to award and let them know by commenting on their blog
  • Pay it forward by awarding it to bloggers they would like to honor
