Sugar High Valentine Party

Ah, gotta love the tween years!  My 12 year old twins decided to throw a Valentine's party - girls only!  After all, girls rule and boys drool (at least for now)!

Framed Pics - When the guests arrived, we took pics of them in a huge frame!  Each girl gets a pic to take home!

Games
Pin the Lips on Justin Bieber - Hung a poster of the Biebs and cut out lips from scrapbook paper.
The girls were blindfolded, spun around and tried to come closet to Justin's lips!

Candy Heart Stacking - see who can stack the most candy conversation hearts!

Guess Who - The girls filled out a questionnaire with 10 burning questions such as, What 3 things would you bring to a dessert island? and Who's your secret crush?  They had a blast guessing who was who!

Dance Off - Blasted the tunes and the girls boogied til they couldn't boogie no more!

My June Cleaver Moment!

When I told my girls about these cupcakes and suggested we make them this weekend, they said we should call it Conniption Cupcakes!  They know me so well - I am no baker.  I like to cook but don't have the patience for baking what with all that measuring and flying flour and more measuring and kneading and more measuring...  Just thinking about it makes me want to go to my happy place!

These cupcakes are the perfect solution.  So easy that I foresee a very June Cleaver moment in my kitchen.  Maybe I'll even don a ruffled apron.  We plan to substitute M&M's for the Reese's Pieces since one of my girls does not like pb and maybe use a candy corn for the beak.  Thanks to One Charming Party for the great idea and check out their other cute ideas below.
