Farewell to Fall - Already?

`Fall is my favorite season but with just two days to go before Halloween, it's already a wintry day.  I am not ready for that!

I caught the beauty of fall on my walk yesterday and saw so many huge old trees full of carved initials and hearts dating back to the 60's.  This scarred tree has so many stories to tell.

Something I will miss over the cold winter months are my morning glories.  I plant a few tiny stems in early summer and by October, they take over my back deck.  We cleaned up the yard yesterday and these babies were cut down.  My poor naked deck!
